James Cameron Invests In Scientific Study To Prove Titanic's Sad Ending, Kate Winslet Reacts
James Cameron has revealed that he has invested in a scientific study to prove that Jack could not have saved himself in Titanic's ending.
It's been 25 years since the film Titanic was released. Directed by Avatar: The Way of Water helmer James Cameron, Titanic is one of the biggest hits of all time that still rules our hearts.
However, many still debate over how Jack (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) saved Rose (played by Kate Winslet) but could not save himself by pulling himself onto the wooden plank.
Well, James Cameron finally invested in a scientific theory that will actually prove that there¡¯s no way Leonardo DiCaprio's character (Jack) in the film could have been saved.
For the unversed, Titanic's ending shows Jack losing his life while saving his beloved girlfriend Rose by sacrificing a wooden plank that floated in the water.
While many still feel there was plenty of room for Jack to share with Rose on the wooden plank to save himself, a scientific study has now proved that there was no way the character could have been saved.
During an interview for his latest outing Avatar: The Way of Water with Postmedia, James Cameron revealed, ¡°We have done a scientific study to put this whole thing to rest and drive a stake through its heart once and for all."
James Cameron told the portal that they have done a thorough forensic analysis with a hypothermia expert who reproduced the raft from the Titanic movie. He also hinted that they are going to release a special video on it that is most likely coming out in February.
"We took two stunt people who were the same body mass of Kate and Leo and we put sensors all over them and inside them and we put them in ice water and we tested to see whether they could have survived through a variety of methods and the answer was, there was no way they both could have survived. Only one could survive," the ace filmmaker said during the interview.
Meanwhile, reports of Kate Winslet getting agitated over the viral Titanic theory on Jack¡¯s survival have been doing rounds on the internet.
Reacting to James Cameron's theory on Jack's survival in Titanic, actress Kate reportedly said, ¡°I don¡¯t fuc*ing know. That¡¯s the answer. I don¡¯t fuc*ing know. Look, all I can tell you is that I do have a decent understanding of water and how it behaves.¡±
According to Deadline, Kate Winslet has stated that both the characters could have their feet on the wooden door that serves the life raft now has backtracked. The Titanic actress made these comments on the podcast titled 'Happy Sad Confused.'
