Jeetu Joseph shares exciting detail about Drishyam 3's climax and we're on the edge of our seats
Director Jeetu Joseph, the mastermind behind the Drishyam series, has given fans an exciting update about the upcoming third installment. Despite facing writer's block, he has already envisioned an intense climax, which has even thrilled Mohanlal, who plays the iconic role of Georgekutty.
There are very few sequels that have lived up to the expectations of the original films. The film basking in the glory of success currently, Stree 2 is a great example of that. Drishyam 2 was another film which was as great as the first instalment. Ever since the makers confirmed a third instalment of the crime-thriller, fans have been eagerly waiting for it. Now, the director of the Malayalam movie Jeetu Joseph has shared an update on Drishyam 3 and we're excited.
Big update on Drishyam 3
In a recent interview of his movie Nunakuzhi ,#Drishyam director #JeethuJoseph confirmed that Drishyam 3 will definitely happen. Director Jeetu Joseph who also wrote the first two films has revealed that is stuck with the script of the movie. However, he knows how it will end. He is excited about the climax of this one as well. So much so that when he narrated the climax to Mohanlal, who plays the lead role of Georgekutty, a local cable TV operator, he loved it too. He said, "I am stuck in cracking a certain area in Drishyam 3."

With this, the ace filmmaker also revealed that he had no plans of making a sequel to the film initially. However, when the movie received a positive response, he was compelled to make another instalment. However, it took him five years to come up with a great idea that would do justice to the first film. "When I made Drishyam in 2013, I did not have a plan for a sequel. It took me five years to zero in on an idea," he told India Today.
Earlier, reporters had claimed that Mohanlal's film and its Hindi remake which stars Ajay Devgn will release on the same time. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited. If this turns out to be true, it would be a historic moment in Indian cinema's history.
