The couple's chemistry on the show Dill Mill Gaye turned into real-life affair and soon they tied the knot. However, after two years of marriage, they decided to separate leaving their fans in shock.

Jennifer Winger opens up about her separation from Karan Singh Grover

In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, the actress shared about the toughest phase of her life. She said, "My separation was out in the public, and I wasnĄ¯t even on social media. People were writing a lot of sh*it about him and me. And it was an invasion of privacy for both of us. That period was very stressful. I was lost and didnĄ¯t know what was happening. I went back into my shell and work helped me to come back with this energy."

Jennifer said that she came out of this as a better and stronger person. Currently, she is rumoured to be dating Tanuj Virwani, while Grover is married to Bipasha Basu. In an interview with Hindustan Times earlier, Jennifer had wished Bipasha and Karan good luck.

"I wish them good luck, and a happy married life. I think they make an amazing couple. Marriage is a beautiful thing if two people work on it and want to be together. May God bless them. I feel love is an amazing thing, and if you can feel it for someone, it is great."

Talking about Karan Singh Grover and her failed marriage with him, she said, "It was an experience, and an amazing roller-coaster ride. There were some happy and sad moments. But I know that I gave my 500% (to my marriage), and no one can point a finger at me. I don't regret a single day of my life. But, s**t happens. I don't feel bitter or hold any grudges. I am in a happy space. People might think otherwise, but that's not the case."

Karan Singh Grover had once called her marriage with Jennifer Winget "a huge mistake".

He said that some people are better off as friends. He blamed himself for rushing into things and said sometimes we should not take it to the next level. Reacting to the same, Jennifer told ETimes, " Well, that is his opinion and he is entitled to it. I wonĄ¯t call our marriage a mistake, though. I donĄ¯t regret it because it was a choice I made. Waise, I donĄ¯t regret anything that has happened in my life."
