They met while Diljit was prepping for his show that was supposed to happen in a few hours. Diljit took to Instagram and shared glimpses of his meeting with Justin.
In the video, we can see Justin shaking hands with Diljit and going on to meet Diljit¡¯s crew and backup dancers. We could also hear Justin, Diljit and the performers say the singer¡¯s iconic line ¡®Punjabi aagye oye¡¯

He captioned the post, ¡°Diversity is ??¡®s strength. Prime Minister @justinpjtrudeau came to check out history in the making: we sold out the Rogers Centre!
As soon as Diljit shared the post, his fans went gaga and expressed how happy they were.
Reacting to it, one wrote, ¡°Justinpreet aa gaya oye.¡±
Another added, ¡°This is called ¡°mittran da na chalda¡±
A third went on to add, ¡°Punjabis are making India famous. They are putting them on the map! Punjabi aa gye oye.¡±

For the unversed, Diljit recently impressed everyone by playing Amar Singh Chamkila in the Netflix film Chamkila alongside Parineeti Chopra. The film, which was directed by Imtiaz Ali, became one of the most loved films in recent months. Diljit will be next seen in No Entry 2.
