Kangana Ranaut Finally Answers If She Will Campaign For BJP In 2022 UP Assembly Elections
Kangana Ranaut talks about joining BJP. She says she doesn't belong to any party. Those who are nationalists, I will campaign for them, she said.
Kangana Ranaut has always kept her opinions forward on national issues without any hesitation. No matter if she gets trolled or even gets threats, she never minces her words.
This makes people wonder if she will ever join politics. A lot of actors in the past have made a swift shift in their careers from acting to politics, after all.
When Kangana Ranaut was asked if she will campaign for BJP in 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections, she said, as quoted by PTI, "I do not belong to any party. Those who are nationalists, I will campaign for them".
Answering why her statements often hurt the sentiments of the people, Ranaut said that those who are honest, brave, nationalists and talk about the country, they will know what "I am saying is correct".
A few months ago, when Kangana Ranaut was asked about her political aspirations, she said, "I am a nationalist and I talk about issues related to the country, so people think I talk about political issues. Maybe it¡¯s the same thing, but not for me, because I am not a politician. I talk as a responsible citizen and a person who has been elevated to celebrity status by the people. So I talk about the rights of the people and the country."
Speculations were also rife that Sonu Sood would also join politics. After denying the grapevine several times, Sood announced some time ago that his sister Malvika has decided to take the political plunge.
She will contest in the 2022 Punjab Elections. At a press conference at his hometown Moga, Sood announced, "Malvika is ready. Her commitment to serving people is unparalleled". Sonu Sood also said that they are yet to decide which party she will join. Once the decision is made, it will be revealed at the right time, he said. He added that he is open to meeting other political leaders as well. "But it is a big decision of life when it comes to joining a political party, it is more about ideologies not casual meetings".
