Kangana Ranaut criticizes Bollywood for ignoring her film Emergency, calling the industry "poisonous." The actress accuses the film industry of conspiring against her and reveals she rejected major roles with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
Kangana Ranaut has said multiple times that she only gives interviews during the promotion of her film as at other times, she is busy. The actress-turned-politician is now promoting her movie Emergency and once again she is back with her brutally honest opinions. She has once again slammed the entire film industry for subbing her forthcoming movie calling her contemporaries "poisonous."

Kangana who had previously slammed actors like Alia Bhatt for not coming to the screening of her film Manikarnika, has now slammed the entire industry for snubbing her movie Emergency. "Ye log jo hai bilkul zeherile, envious hain. Lekin Anupam Ji, Shreyas ko dekhiye. Unko ap bulaiye vinamrata se wo ayenge! Kabhi bhi ye nahi he ki nahi ayenge. (These people are completely toxic and envious. But look at Anupam Ji and Shreyas. Invite them respectfully, and they will come! It¡¯s never the case that they won¡¯t come)," she said in an interview with Mashable India.

In another interview with Times Of India, the actress said that people in the industry are trying to pull her down as many including casting directors and DOPs refused to work with her. She also claimed that many actors received calls to not work with her.
In other interviews, Kangana Ranaut has claimed Ranbir Kapoor had pleaded with her to work in Sanju. She said that she rejected the film as she didn't like the role. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan for his YouTube channel, she also revealed that she rejected Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan starrer films including Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Singh Is Bliing and Sultan because she didn't find her roles meatier. She, however, praised Akshay and Salman for understanding her viewpoint and not keeping a grudge.
