Kangana Ranaut, who is known to speak her mind, has opened up about raunchy item numbers and said that they needn't be vulgar or objectify women.
Kangana posted a video of the song ¡°Aaiye Meharbaan¡± featuring the late actor Madhubala to give an example of how to make such scenes without objectifying women.
Taking to her social media account on Monday, Kangana re-shared a video clip posted by a fan account and wrote on her Instagram stories, "Sensuality and seduction has nothing to do with vulgarity and raunchy item numbers¡ This song has everything, yet there is no objectification of woman and her body parts."
The most recent item songs that hit the entertainment market are Nora Fatehi starrer 'Manike' from Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra's new film Thank God, ¡°Thumkeshwari¡± from Bhediya which features Kriti Sanon and Katrina Kaif starring in the song ¡°Kaali Teri Gutt¡± from the film Phone Bhoot, which is slated to hit theatres on November 4, 2022.

As reported by indianexpress.com, during a recent interview with India.com, the Tanu Weds Manu actress claimed that she had never done such item songs, nor she has ever endorsed fairness creams like other fellow actors from the industry.
Moreover, the Queen actress had earlier slammed a politician who called her a ¡®naachne gaane waali.'
"Whoever this fool is does he know I am no Deepika Katrina or Alia¡. I am the only one who refused to do item numbers, refused to do big hero ( Khan /Kumar) films which made entire Bullywoodiya gang men + women against me. I am a Rajput woman I don¡¯t shake a** I break bones," Kangana wrote on Twitter.
On the work front, Kangana is busy with her upcoming film Emergency, which is based on Indira Gandhi. She is not only acting but has also turned into a director and producer for the upcoming Hindi-language flick.
