The Haryana Hurricane, as he is fondly called, then tells the audience to relive the iconic moment on the big screen.
Do you know the Indian cricket team has not watched the Ranveer Singh starrer as of yet?
Director Kabir Khan revealed the same in an interview with India Today, "It¡¯s an incredible thing and people don¡¯t believe it but they are yet to see the film. Kapil Dev sir told us that they will all sit together as a team and watch 83 when it¡¯s released. They have refused to see any screening. That shows how secure they are of their stardom. I am also flattered by the trust they have put in me that they¡¯ve shared their story and now given me the freedom to interpret it. They made it my story to tell and never intruded in my filmmaking space."
The climax of the film made Ranveer Singh so emotional that he had tears in his eyes after lifting the trophy. Meanwhile, 83's early reactions have come and people have declared the film a masterpiece already. The film got a standing ovation at the Red Sea Film Festival.
