Shehzada Director, Producer Come To Kartik Aaryan's Defence, Rubbish Claim Of Unprofessionalism
Shehzada producer Bhushan Kumar and director Rohit Dhawan rubbished claims of Kartik Aaryan's unprofessionalism. They have called him thorough professional.
Kartik Aaryan's name has once again been embroiled in controversy and the actor is still maintaining a dignified silence.
Yet again, questions have been raised about his professionalism. The statement by one of the producers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has caused an uproar.
Manish Shah, who was to release Hindi version of All Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, had called him unprofessional and had stated that he threatened to walk out of the film, because of which he lost Rs 20 crores.
For the unversed, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's Hindi remake is Shehzada, a film starring Kartik Aaryan. The makers of the original were planning to release the film in Hindi, and Shah was the producer for the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
Now, Shehzada producers have rubbished Shah's claims stating that Kartik Aaryan is extremely professional and he didn't threaten to walk out of the movie.
Producer Bhushan Kumar said, "We, the producers, felt that Shehzada should release in theatre first and not the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, hence we requested Goldmines (of Manisha Shah) not to release the Hindi version, and release of the film is always the producers' decision and not the actor.
"I have known Kartik since the beginning of his career. We have done multiple films together. He is one of the most professional actors, I have worked with."
Rohit Dhawan also voiced similar views about Aaryan. "Kartik¡¯s intent and excitement for ¡®Shehzada¡¯ is unquestionable. It¡¯s been a joy working with him. As director and actor, we share a solid bond and nothing can come in the way of our love for the film."
Producer Aman Gill stated, "After finding out about the Hindi Version release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo we the producers on our own requested Manishji to not release it. Kartik is going all out for Shehzada as an actor and only discusses how he can contribute to make this the biggest film for everyone involved, he is one of most dedicated actors in the industry."
