'Lawrence Bishnoi tried to kill me': Salman Khan shares details of death threats and house firing
Salman Khan recently disclosed details of the death threats and a gunfiring incident at his residence, allegedly orchestrated by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The actor¡¯s statement, included in a 1,735-page chargesheet filed by Mumbai Police, claims Bishnoi aimed to kill him and his family.
Time and again, Lawrence Bishnoi has threatened to kill Salman Khan. It was in 2018 when the main accused in Sidhu Moose Wala's murder case openly threatened to kill the Dabangg star. With the recent incident of a gun firing at his house, things have turned even more serious. Ever since the incident took place on April 14, the Bollywood superstar's security has been beefed up. Recently, the actor revealed that he believes gangster Lawrence Bishnoi tried to kill him as well as his family members.

In 1,735 page chargesheet filed by Mumbai Police in July, Salman Khan in his statement shared the details of death threats that he got and also revealed about the firing incident at his house Galaxy Apartments. In his statement accessed by India Today, he mentioned that according to him, Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the attack and he tried to kill him and his family members.
Rs 25 lakh bounty on Salman Khan's murder
For the unversed, the 1,735 page chargesheet, which contains statements from 46 witnesses, was filed by the crime branch in a special MCOC court after two bike-borne men fired several rounds at Salman's residence Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. Earlier this months, it was revealed that the chargesheet mentioned that Bishnoi gang had issued a bounty of Rs 25 lakh to kill the actor. They had been planning for this for several months between August 2023 to April 2024.

Weapons bought from Pakistan
Not just that, it was also revealed that several weapons were bought from Pakistan for this. The firearms included AK-47s, AK-92s, M16 rifles, and the Turkish-made Zigana pistol, the one that was used in the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022.
Furthermore, it mentioned that boys who were under the age of 18 were given the task to assassinate Salman. They had to wait for orders from Goldie Brar and Anmol Bishnoi.
