During a recent interview on the YouTube channel Cine Desi, the actor talked about the secret behind his happy marital life. Manoj, who is also a man of few words, mentioned that mutual respect, understanding, and space are crucial elements to having a successful marriage.
The Gangs of Wasseypur actor said, "There is no secret, believe me. Every day is a new day, and every day you are trying to correct yourself and improve yourself when it comes to staying in the marriage or understanding the other person. Love alone cannot sustain a marriage, here you have to not focus on yourself and focus on the other person who is in the marriage with you, and look at things from her perspective, in my case."
Manoj's dedication and loyalty towards his family prove that one can maintain a flourishing career and a happy family life simultaneously.

Further during the interview, Manoj shared an unconventional idea to stay out of frequent fights with a partner. He revealed that he has let go of all his insecurities and ego and has always put forth his wife¡¯s perspectives first.
¡°Shed everything about yourself ¡ª your ego, your insecurity, all of these things you¡¯re ready to shed off there are better chances that quarrels will be very less, fires will be minimum. When we keep putting ourselves first, this is where things start to go wrong. If you think that the other person should not ignore a certain thing, I think you should talk at a calmer time. I think talking helps," the actor was quoted as saying during the interview by a portal.
