According to digitical creator Aishwarya Subramanyam whose Instagram handle is Otherwarya, influencers paid a hefty amount to be at the prestigious film festival. The former deputy editor of Vogue India and ex editor-in-chief of Elle India revealed that Nancy Tyagi is managed by Monk Entertainment, an agency by the popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia and that she paid around Rs. 8 lakh to be at the film festival.

The digital content creator also revealed how much influencers like Raj Shamani, Sharan Hegde, and Vishnu Kaushal paid to be there. She also revealed the prices of tickets for various events at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. As per her, a "one-off ticket to walk the red carpet costs Rs 30 lakhs." Influencers usually get a sponsor on board who pays for their ticket and in return they create content for them from Cannes.
