'Was Part Of A Larger Narcotics Conspiracy': NCB's Special Team Finds No evidence Against Aryan Khan
According to the report, NCB¡¯s cruise raid was not video-recorded, which is the usual protocol according to the NCB manual as such raids are supposed to be recorded on video.
After months of investigation, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has confirmed that Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, was not a part of a larger drugs conspiracy.
According to verified reports, SIT has confirmed: ¡°no evidence that Aryan Khan was part of a larger drugs conspiracy or an international drugs trafficking syndicate."
SIT pointed out that they found several irregularities in the raid during their investigation. They confirmed that Aryan did not have any drugs, due to which he did not have to surrender his phone.
The team added that it was not required of Aryan to show his chats to NCB. Aryan¡¯s chat did not indicate any international narcotics syndicate.
According to Aryan's bail order, the Bombay High Court had also stated a similar statement.
The court had confirmed nothing objectionable in WhatsApp chats of Aryan, Munmun Dhamecha, and Arbaaz Merchant, who were also arrested, among several others.
According to the report, NCB¡¯s cruise raid was not video-recorded, which is the usual protocol according to the NCB manual. Such raids are supposed to be recorded on video.
A key finding states that the narcotics substance recovered from several arrested was labeled as single recovery.
Even though there has been no evidence against Aryan, the SIT probe has not been fully completed.
The final report will be submitted in a couple of months to NCB Director General SN Pradhan.
Aryan Khan made headlines after his arrest on October 2 connected to a drugs raid conducted by the Narcotics Control Bureau on a cruise off the Mumbai coast.
The raid was headlined by zonal director Sameer Wankhede, and NCB¡¯s Mumbai unit raided a cruise ship off the city coast.
Aryan and several others were arrested and accused of consumption and ¡®conspiracy,¡¯ among other charges.
After multiple court hearings and 26 long days in custody, the Bombay High Court granted him bail on October 28. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son was out of jail on October 30.
