¡®Our Hearts Are Full Of Love', Alia Bhatt Thanks Fans As Brahmastra Breaks Box Office Records
Alia Bhatt has thanked her fans and followers for the success of her latest movie 'Brahmastra', which has broken records at the box office.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's film Brahmastra has been creating a huge buzz on the internet ever since the film started courting controversies for various reasons. However, despite the hatred and people calling for a boycott of the film on social media, the Ayan Mukerji directorial had a mammoth opening weekend at the box office.
The film has already crossed Rs 200 crore mark worldwide and is expected to mint more money as it runs at the theatres. Not just that, the film has even broken records at the box office.
It has surpassed the three-day box office collections of Aamir Khan's Dangal, Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Saif Ali Khan starrer Race 3. The film even went on to surpass Yash's 'KGF 2' and Hrithik Roshan's film 'War' in terms of single day collections.
Now, actress Alia Bhatt has penned a note on social media to thank the audience for their positive response to the film. Sharing a teaser of box office success, the actress wrote, "A weekend full of light and our hearts full of love ????. SO grateful for our audience ??????."
Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji also took to his social media account to express his gratitude to the audience for showing their love for his magnum opus.
Sharing the box office update of Brahmastra on Instagram, he wrote, "Brahmstra has gotten off to a great start with audiences over its first weekend ! The feeling is only of Gratitude, and more Gratitude - for our Audiences! The Acceptance from Audiences - is the only reward we work for at the movies. The Future of the Brahmstra Trilogy, and the Astraverse, eventually lies in the hands of our Audience, and this weekend we have received back from them Light - for the years of work that went into this Venture!"
"I feel proud that we managed to create a great energy at the cinemas over the last 3 days, with people coming out and sitting together jointly - to watch a very new kind of movie for our Cinema, one which takes Technology to the next level, and does it while retaining the soul of Indian culture and spirituality," the director of the film further mentioned in his Instagram message.
