Veteran actors Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav, who have won hearts with their onscreen chemistry, are known to have known each other for almost four decades. The two are playing a couple in the latest season of Panchayat.
Now, a photo of the actors from their throwback days has resurfaced on the internet that has also gone viral, giving fans a dose of nostalgia since the time they've been entertaining the audience.
A Twitter user, pointed out that the old photo of the veteran actors together is from some reality show back in the year 1982. Many others quickly took to the post's comment section to leave their wholesome remarks.
While some said the two actors have ¡°aged like fine wine¡± other called them ¡°relationship goals,¡± according to a reports published on a media website.
Neena Gupta's Role in Panchayat 2
In Panchayat 2, Neena Gupta is portraying the role of a village sarpanch while actor Raghubir Yadav steps into the character of her husband. They two have previously shared screen space in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar (2021).
Speaking of her co-star Raghubir Yadav during an interview with a leading media organisation, Neena Gupta had said, ¡°I really enjoyed working with Raghubir Yadav who I¡¯ve known for ages now and he has a great sense of humour.¡±
The actress is quite active on social media unlike other veteran Bollywood actors. She has posted a beautiful picture of herself wearing a lemon-coloured saree on Instagram today. "Going Lemon ? ?" the caption on her post read.
Neena Gupta To Feature in Masaba Masaba Season 2
On the work front, Neena Gupta is set to return in her daughter Masaba's series, Masaba Masaba Season 2. Speaking of the projects she gets, Neena said while the projects she receives are better, they are still not as good as to those received by her male counterparts.
¡°Yes, the opportunities are much better. Not good as the men but much better than before. Now, they are no more writing women¡¯s roles as mothers who would say, ¡®Khana khaale beta¡® or ¡®Raat ko mat jao bahar.¡¯ It is much more than that, which is very good,¡± she said speaking to the leading media website.
