Pankaj Tripathi Explains What Star Fees Means To Him, Says Films Have Their Own PR Machinery

Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who has made a mark portraying unconventional characters in Bollywood, is all set to be seen in Criminal Justice Season 3. The actor will be returning on screens as lawyer Madhav Mishra in the web series, which is scheduled to be released on August 26 on Disney+Hotstar.
In a recent interview, Pankaj Tripathi talked about wanting to get out of his comfort zone, what OTT platforms provide actors that characteristic movies don¡¯t and social accountability when it comes to his fees.
Speaking of OTT, the actor said that they are certain their work will attain a large viewers worldwide.
"If somebody desires to look at my work in Bihar, they¡¯ve means to take action. As compared, a few of my small movies haven¡¯t launched correctly, not even in my dwelling state. If a younger boy from my district desires to look at the movie, it is rather troublesome to go 200 kms to Patna. Even when it isn¡¯t only one particular person, however a whole lot of 1000¡¯s, how and why will they journey all the way in which?"
The actor further stated that there's no such issue when it comes to OTT and that people can watch it from the comfort of their home.

The Mirzapur actor added that while he understands that making films is a business, movies should always be measured in terms of the story they¡¯re providing.
"The shelf life of a film could be very small. People might forget a big film in 2 years but sometimes a small and simple film is remembered for years,¡± Pankaj Tripathi stated and added ¡°But yes, I understand filmmaking is a business and a lot of money is involved here. That is why the collections are a huge aspect.¡±
Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi's upcoming web show titled Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, sees his character handle the toughest case in his career, which is related to murder of a child actor. The series also features Shweta Basu Prasad and Swastika Mukherjee alongside him.
Reportedly, the actor will also be portraying former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the upcoming biopic movie titled Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Yeh Desh Rehna Chahiye - Atal.
