People call superstar Shah Rukh Khan a 'secular Indian' as he welcomes Ganpati Bappa in his house.
Despite being trolled for years by people for doing Ganesh Chaturthi Puja, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is keeping up with his tradition of bringing Ganpati Bappa home.
This year too, the Zero actor welcomed Bappa to his house and shared his happiness with his followers on social media.
Shah Rukh Khan took to social media handles, both Instagram and Twitter to share a picture of the idol of Lord Ganesha and wrote, "Ganpatiji welcomed home by lil one and me¡.the modaks after were delicious¡the learning is, through hard work, perseverance & faith in God, u can live your dreams. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all."

Seeing his post, many people took to the comment section to laud and support the superstar.
A user on Twitter wrote, "His wife is hindu. This is the beauty of India. He respects every religion and god. Some people needs to stop hating this man on the basis of his religion. He's truly a secular person and did a lot of philanthropist work for our Indian society."

A fourth person warned other users on Twitter saying that SRK observes Ganesh Chaturthi every and wrote, "Before uttering a word that you are doing this now....it's effect of boycott or criticism towards Bollywood... Shut up. He does Ganesh puja every year."

Earlier, some people brutally trolled the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor for for "celebrating a Hindu festival."
Last year, Shah Rukh Khan was trolled for sharing a Ganesh Visarjan post. People schooled him and told him to ¡®convert¡¯ his religion. One took to the comment section of his post last year and wrote "Just convert already."
"May God show you the right path. To please them you have crossed all your limits forgetting that you¡¯re from a Muslim family," another slammed the actor.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to be seen in a cameo role in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and is making a comeback after four-year hiatus with Pathaan, which is slated to release on January 25, 2023.
