The tent city was built by Shri Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust and Ayodhya Development Authority an arrangement for thousands of devotees who can stay in the grand Ayodhya. The city is reportedly getting a Rs. 57,000-crore makeover and is set to become the new international destination for religious tourism. The luxury tent city has white cottage tents that are equipped with recliner chairs, sofas, LED TVs and more.
The Deluxe AC tents at Saryu, which is 3.5 kilometres away from Ram Mandir has 39 air-conditioned tents and suites.
Here's how the Premium AC tents at Brahma Kund, which is zero kilometes away from the Ram Temple, will look like.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan has bought a 10,000 square feet plot for around Rs 14.5 crore in Ayodhya that is being developed by Mumbai-based realty firm House of Abhinandan Lodha. It is said that the plot measuring around 10,000 square feet, located in ¡®The Sarayu project, has been sold at Rs 14.5 crore. "I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart¡ I am looking forward to building my home in the global spiritual capital," Bachchan said.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Hema Malini will be presenting a dance drama based on the Hindu epic Ramayana in Ayodhya ahead of the grand ceremony. In a video message, the veteran Bollywood actress said, "I am coming to Ayodhya for the first time at the time of the pranpratishtha of Ram Temple for which people were waiting for years¡On January 17, I¡¯ll be presenting a dance drama based on Ramayana in Ayodhya Dham¡"
