Ahead Of Grand Inauguration Of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, Here Are 4 Upcoming Films Based On Ramayan

A lot of Bollywood celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Randeep Hooda and Tiger Shroff among others have been invited for the inauguration of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir. Will this inspire movies based on mythology, Ramayan or Ram Mandir? Here are four upcoming movies that are already in the pipeline.

1. Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan

One of the most ambitious projects on Ramayan, Nitesh Tiwari is making a three-part movie on the subject. While the official confirmation on the cast is awaited, it is said that Ranbir Kapoor will essay the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita, Naveen Polishetty as Laxman and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.

2. Kangana Ranaut's yet-to-be titled movie

Ahead of the release of Tejas, Kangana Ranaut paid a visit to Ram Mandir, which was under-construction Ram Mandir at that point in time to seek blessings. She then revealed she has a script ready for a film on Ayodhya. "Finally the Ram Lalla temple has been built. This is a centuries-long struggle by Hindus and our generation is able to see this day. I have written a script on Ayodhya and also did research...This is a 600-year-long struggle and this day is becoming possible due to the Modi Government and CM Yogi Adityanath...This will be the biggest pilgrimage site for Hindus like the Vatican is for Christians...This will be a grand symbol of the country and Sanatan culture before the world...Ram Mandir also plays a significant role in our film Tejas", Kangana Ranaut later told reporters," she was quoted as saying.

3. 695: Triumph Of Faith

Actor Arun Govil who essayed the role of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan will headline a movie titled 695: Triumph Of Faith that will narrate the struggle and sacrifice made during the contruction of Ram Mandir temple in Ayodhya.

Talking about the movie, the veteran actor whose name is synonymous to Bhagwan Ram said, "It's an honour to revisit the timeless narrative that holds a special place in the hearts of millions. '695' is not just a film; it's a celebration of our cultural heritage and the triumph of faith."

Apart from Govil, the movie will also star Govind Namdev, Mukesh Tiwari, Ashok Samarth, Manoj Joshi, KK Raina, Shailendra Srivastav, Dayashankar Pandey, Vikash Mahantey, Sushilajeet Sahani and Garima Agarwal.

4. HanuMan

The trailer of Prasanth Varma's upcoming movie titled HanuMan has been released, and it's winning people's hearts already. The movie that shows the mythological character as a superhero and stars Teja Sajja and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in key roles. This is the first movie in his cinematic universe. The next will be titled Adhira. "HanuMan isn't just a character; it is the beginning of an epic cinematic universe that brings something uniquely Indian and magical to the audience. This journey has been an exciting adventure for all of us, and we're incredibly proud of what we've created," he said at the trailer launch of HanuMan. The movie is slated to be released on Jan 12.
