Dominik Mysterio will defend his Intercontinental Championship against AAA¡¯s Octagon Jr. at Money in the Bank. The challenge came after Octagon¡¯s trio defeated Dragon Lee, Lince Dorado, and Cruz Del Toro in a thrilling tag match. A heated brawl with Dominik followed, leading to the surprise title match announcement.
A fast-paced six-man tag team match kicked off WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, featuring AAA stars Octagon Jr., Mr. Iguana, and Aero Star taking on WWE¡¯s Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Lince Dorado. The crowd was fully behind the AAA team, especially Mr. Iguana, who played to the audience with his toy iguana and dramatic antics.
Each man had his moment, but it was Octagon Jr. who impressed the most. After a wild sequence of dives and strikes, he landed a stunning moonsault fallaway slam from the top rope on Dorado to pick up the win. The crowd exploded in cheers as the trio celebrated their victory.

As the camera cut to the crowd, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan were seen watching from ringside. Dominik grabbed a mic and began mocking Octagon Jr., accusing him of being a wannabe Rey Mysterio and calling his team ¡°lucky.¡± The comments quickly escalated, and Octagon Jr. walked over to confront Dirty Dom.
The tension snapped, and both men started brawling near the barricade. WWE officials and referees ran in to separate them, but the damage was done. Before being pulled away, Dominik shouted out a challenge. He said if Octagon wanted to prove himself, he should face him for the Intercontinental Championship later that night.
Octagon Jr. didn¡¯t hesitate. He accepted with a simple nod, locking in a match that no one saw coming. The challenge is now official, and fans will get to see a fresh, exciting title defence as the high-flying AAA star takes on one of WWE¡¯s top heels at Money in the Bank.
