Actress Priyanka Chopra has opened up about botched plastic surgery that forever changed her appearance.
Global icon Priyanka Chopra is known not just for acting, but for her daredevil attitude and outspoken nature. She is a former beauty queen, who went on to dominate the world of acting after winning the Miss World 2000 pageant. She is one of India's highest-paid actresses that has grabbed opportunities on international platforms.

The actress recently released her long-awaited memoir titled 'Unfinished' in which she has shared many personal stories that her fans are unaware of. The actress poured her heart out in the memoir and went on to talk about some of the most unpleasant experiences in her life.
In one of the chapters of the 'Unfinished' memoir, the Quantico actress spoke of her botched nose job and revealed how she dealt with the horrifying situation. Priyanka Chopra aka PeeCee shared that she felt polypectomy was a pretty routine procedure but doctors accidentally shaved the bridge of her nose leaving her devastated and horrified.

Speaking of how a nose surgery gone wrong forever altered her looks, global actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote in her book, "I was having trouble breathing. This is a problem someone with asthma can't ignore. I ended up seeing a doctor recommended by a family friend, who discovered a polyp in my nasal cavity that would need to be surgically removed."
"While shaving off the polyp, the doctor also accidentally shaved the bridge of my nose and the bridge collapsed. When it was time to remove the bandages and the condition of my nose was revealed, Mom and I were horrified. My original nose was gone. My face looked completely different. I wasn't me anymore," the actress further wrote in her memoir.

The 40-year-old model-turned-actress further revealed that she was devastated after the botched nose job. She said that every time she looked into the mirror, she felt like a stranger was looking back at her.
"I didn't think my sense of self or my self-esteem would ever recover from the blow. Let's just call it out right now. I remember the media giving me the nickname 'Plastic Chopra' after my surgery," PeeCee wrote. However, later Priyanka opted for corrective surgeries to fix the damage done to her nose during the polypectomy.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is all set to make a comeback in Bollywood with Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zaara.'
