'Go To Hotel Room And Do It', After BJP Leaders, Priest Slams Om Raut's Kiss To Kriti Sanon
After two BJP leaders, now a temple's chief priest has slammed Om Raut for kissing Kriti Sanon at Tirumala in Tirupati. He asked them to go to a hotel room and do it.
Adipurush director Om Raut has kicked up a storm after his video in which he gave a peck on Kriti Sanon's (who plays Sita in the movie) cheeks to bid her goodbye after offering prayers at Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple at Tirumala in Tirupati.
After two BJP leaders, now a temple priest has slammed him.
Go to a hotel room and do it, he says.
Telangana's Chilkur Balaji Temple's chief priest called it "a condemnable act". He said that "even a husband and wife do not go there (temple) together." Furthermore, he asked Om Raut and Kriti Sanon to "go to a hotel room and do it. He said that their "behaviour is like insulting Ramayan and Goddess Sita."
He also added that Kriti Sanon is not fit for playing the role of Sita.
Earlier, BJP State Secretary in Andhra Pradesh Ramesh Naidu Nagothu also criticised the same in a now-deleted tweet.
He tweeted, "Is it really necessary to bring your antics to a sacred place? Engaging in public displays of affection, like kissing and hugging in front of the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala is deemed disrespectful and unacceptable".
BJP state official spokesperson Bhanu Prakash Reddy also told Tv9 Telugu, "Why indulge in inappropriate things like hugging, kissing, flying kisses and act against the traditions of Tirumala Tirupati temple? It has hurt a lot of devotees of Lord Venkateswara and since the heroine, filmmaker behaved that way, they must apologise publicly. This is a holy place and not a shooting spot. TTD authorities should take this seriously."
