Grammys are hailed as one of the biggest musical nights that everyone across the world waits for. This year, however, Grammys took an unexpected turn and became a little chaotic too, First, because of the turmoil within the organisation that led to Grammy Awards chief Deborah Dugan's ouster. Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna died Sunday in a helicopter crash. ¡°We¡¯re all feeling crazy sadness right now. We never imagined in a million years we¡¯d have to start a show like this. We¡¯re literally standing here, heartbroken, in the house that Kobe Bryant built," she said, following which Boys II Men entered the stage to sing It's So Hard To Say Goodbye.

She sang a medley of hits from her acclaimed album Thank U, Next. While concluding her performance, she sang an emotional rendition of the song Thank U, Next and changed the lyrics to honour her father, who also couldn't hold back his tears.

She sang First Man for her father while the stage was decorated with her childhood pictures. She also walked into the audience where her father was sitting and they both couldn't hold back their tears. It was quite an emotional moment.
