From Teeth To Hair, R Madhavan Shares About Challenges He Faced To Look Like Nambi Narayanan
Rocketry director R Madhavan opens up about the challenges he faced in transforming into the character of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan.
R Madhavan, who is all set to be seen portraying Nambi Narayanan, the former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist and aerospace engineer accused of espionage in the upcoming Pan-India movie titled Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, has opened up about the challenges he faced while transforming into the character and making of the film.
Speaking of the challenges, actor-turned-director R Madhavan said that the film's script had been penned in such a way that it required him to look as close to the real Nambi Narayanan as possible.
"It was literally rocket science how the entire team planned the look from being a 29 year old man to 79 year old guy. To maneuver the look between our schedule of 43 days was one of our greatest achievements. You will see in the film how the transition of the look is so seamless that you would not even realise how and when the look changed,¡± the Breathe actor said in a video shared on YouTube.
Manipulating My Original teeth To Look Like His Was Most Difficult: R Madhavan
R Madhavan even spilled the beans on two of the most difficult challenges he had to face during Rocketry shoot. He said, that manipulating his original teeth to look like that of Nambi Narayanan was the most difficult part of Rocketry shoot. He shared that he had to put on braces to make his look as genuine as Nambi Narayanan¡¯s. While for hair, the actor recalled that he had to spend 18 hours for three consecutive days sitting on a chair to get his hair colour done as the team had to get it right.
When R Madhavan Got Trolled For His Mars Mission Comment
Meanwhile, recently, R Madhavan made some baseless claim about Mars Mission wherein he stated that the ISRO used Hindu Calendar for launching a rocket into space. Soon after, the actor's statement went viral on social media sparking a huge debate on Twitter. Netizens and some of RHTDM's Maddy's disappointed fans trolled him on social media. Some called him 'Whatsapp Uncle' while some targeted him with even worse hate comments.

Madhavan Aka Maddy Issues Clarification After Getting Trolled On Social Media
However, after getting brutally trolled over his ISRO-Panchangam comment, the actor issued a clarification saying that he deserved that.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, R Madhavan wrote, "I deserve this for calling the Almanac the ¡°Panchang¡± in tamil. Very ignorant of me. Though this cannot take away for the fact that what was achieved with just 2 engines by us in the Mars Mission.A record by itself. @NambiNOfficial Vikas engine is a rockstar."
