Rajkummar Rao Admits Getting Chin Fillers To Look Confident, Denies Undergoing Plastic Surgery

Rajkummar Rao has finally busted the rumours about getting plastic surgery done for his chin to look pointed. After his recent photo went viral on social media, rumours started floating again about the actor going under the knife once again. The Srikanth actor has now admitted getting chin fillers to look confident.

Rao who will soon be seen essaying the role of visually-impaired Indian industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries Srikanth Bolla in a biopic based on his life said, "I have not done any plastic surgery guys."

He said that the particular image that went viral was just weird. "It is just a bad photo. That is just a touch-up photo. I wish I had such clean and flawless skin because it looks like that. I was not wearing any makeup. But I must say it looks weird even for me. It was just a bad moment caught on camera. I have not done any plastic surgery."

The actor honestly admitted getting chin fillers eight years ago to look confident. "Having said that, about eight years ago, I did some filler work on my chin because I wanted to look confident. My dermatologist suggested it and I did. Do I feel confident after that? Yes. Have I done better films after that. It has changed the perception. Acting is a visual media. I am not against it. If somebody wants to boost their confidence and the science is available, then why not. But no to plastic surgery. It is too expensive and time-consuming," he was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama.

Rajkummar Rao's next is titled Srikanth

In the upcoming film, Rajkummar Rao takes on the role of Srikanth Bolla, an industrious entrepreneur who fearlessly pursued his dreams despite being visually impaired. Srikanth Bolla, born in 1992 near Hyderabad, is the visionary founder of Bollant Industries, a company dedicated to employing unskilled and differently-abled individuals. His inspiring life story showcases resilience and determination in the face of adversity, making him a beacon of hope for many.

Also starring Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar and Jyotika, Srikanth is slated to have a theatrical release on May 10, 2024.
