Ranveer Singh Reveals Being Invited To A Producer¡¯s Party Who Later Unleashed His Dog At Him

Ranveer Singh who debuted with Band Baaja Baaraat has climbed numerous stairs of success over the years. The actor has come a long way but it wasn¡¯t always a cakewalk for the Bajirao Mastani actor. At an event, Ranveer has now revealed that during his struggling days in the industry, one of the prominent producers had unleashed his dog on him ¡®for fun¡¯.

Ranveer recently received the Etoile d'Or award at the Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco where he also spoke about his Bollywood journey and Hollywood aspirations.

In a report by Deadline, Ranveer in his mid-20s had once attended a party organised by a producer who ¡®for fun¡¯ had later unleashed his dog at him.

He also discussed the dark side of Bollywood where he was advised to 'be smart and be sexy' instead of being a hard worker. ''This guy calls me to this seedy place and is like, ¡®Are you a hard worker, or a smart worker?¡¯. I didn¡¯t consider myself to be smart, so I said: ¡®I think I¡¯m a hard worker.¡¯ He was like, ¡®Darling, be smart, be sexy¡¯,'' he said.

However, those days for Ranveer are long gone as he has aced the position to be called one of the most successful stars in Bollywood. ''I had all those kinds of experiences during those three-and-a-half years, and I think it was that period that makes me value the opportunities I have now,'' Singh concluded.

Ranveer earlier this year travelled first to the US to take part in the NBA All-Star Game and later to the UK for a tour with the English Premier League. All of which has proved his passion for sports parallel to the cinema.

In a recent interview given to Hindustan Times, Ranveer revealed that he is a die-hard Arsenal fan while Anisha Padukone, his sister-in-law supports Manchester United. The duo often gets into heated arguments at home and the story is quite intriguing. ¡°What¡¯s football without a little bit of banter? Fortunately, my best friends are Arsenal fans. One of my best friends is a Barcelona fan, so there is a lot of smack talk.¡±

¡°We are on WhatsApp groups where we are going on about Manchester United fans. Banter is all part of the game and that¡¯s the fun of it all. My sister-in-law is a Manchester United fan. So when we are sitting together watching Arsenal vs Man U, it¡¯s always an interesting time. I lucked out that both my best friends are also Arsenal fans because things can get out of hand during banter,¡± says Ranveer.
