'Why doesn't she get married?¡¯ Reddit slams Kangana Ranaut over 'let's not endorse divorces' remark

There has been a lot of discussion on weddings in Indian households and the treatment of women ever since the Sanya Malhotra film Mrs. debuted on Zee5. In light of this, Kangana Ranaut wrote a lengthy message on social media about the need for people to cease generalising about Indian joint families and how she thinks that divorce should not be encouraged. People on Reddit are now feeling that she is trying to mock the movie.

A part of Kangana¡¯s post read, ¡°Women of the house dadi, mumma, chachi (grandmother, mom, aunt) are our ultimate queens, and we hope to be like them, of course there can be cases of devaluing women but let's stop generalising Indian joint families and demonising elderly people, also let's stop comparing women of the house with paid labour also the joy of building a home and raising kids with forced labour (face palm emoji).¡±

Kangana asked her followers and supporters to refrain from "demonizing elderly people and comparing women of the house with paid labor" on her Instagram Stories. Bollywood "love stories have distorted the ideas of marriages," Kangana added.

Reacting to this, people said that she herself should get married first if this is the case.

One wrote, ¡°She is just scared that another curly hair girl will usurp the throne. She did the same to Tapsee and now Sanya.¡±
