Salman Khan recently watched Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies, and he was so impressed with the movie that he took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to praise the director. However, he goofed up in a 33-word tweet, which has now kickstarted a meme storm on the social media platform. Here's what happened.

In the tweet, the Tiger 3 actor wrote, "Just saw Kiran Rao¡¯s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah Kiran. I really enjoyed it n so did my father. Congrats on your debut as a director, superb job. Kab kaam karogi mere saath?"
While a lot of fans praised the candid tweet in which the actor adorable asked her as to when she will work with him, others couldn't get over the fact that he called Laapataa Ladies her debut movie. Some even reminded him that he was Dhobi Ghat (2010) was her directorial debut and shared photos of Salman attending the special screening of the movie.

"Dhobi ghat was her debut movie as a director," said another one.
Earlier, ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar had also praised the film. The Master Blaster wrote, "A big-hearted fable set in small-town India that speaks to one at so many levels. I loved @LaapataaLadies for its delightful story, powerhouse performances, and the subtlety with which it delivered important social messages so cleverly, without overt preaching."
The cricketer went on to encourage his followers to watch the movie. "A must-watch for everyone, and trust me, you will laugh, cry, and rejoice with the characters as they find their destinies in the movie." He also congratulated Aamir and Kiran Rao for making the film. "A big congratulations to my friends Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan," Sachin posted.
