Dear members of the press. I know times are tougher than ever & there is immense pressure on you¡¯ll from your respective employers to grab a byte even if it means compromising your own health & safety but how do you¡¯ll explain this pack like behaviour to your own children?Tragic. https://t.co/oU6W1Od9cm

Being a celebrity, being a star, being from ¡®Bollywood¡¯ means your emotion, your torment and your concern as a father become a matter of public consumption, heartless abuse and ruthless judgement.

Bollywood is not a place, not a company and definitely not some mafia. It is a loosely coined term for a large number of individuals who work really hard to create, to entertain, to engage and unlike many other professions are always vulnerable to criticism, scrutiny and abuse.

I don¡¯t know or have never appreciated the term Bollywood. What I do know is that this term and the individuals connected to it are a favourite punching pag and diversionary vehicle for a few divisive, abusive and inefficient set of some cowardly invisible people.

Aryan Khan was detained along with seven others on 2nd October and has been in prison for 19 days now.
Aryan Khan's bail, along with that of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, was denied by a special Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court in Mumbai on Wednesday.
After Aryan Khan's bail was rejected, several celebrities took to their social media account to express their anger and displeasure.
Apart from Aryan, others involved in the case have also been stuck after repeated rejections of their bail plea. As he saw his child beg on the video call, Arbaaz's father, Aslam Merchant, spoke to TOI and shared his ordeal.
He was quoted in the report as saying,
"I don't know how my son is and I don't know what is happening inside the jail. I don't even know who he is staying with, in the barrack and what kind of people are around him. Besides, when I got a chance to speak on video call last week, I could see the fright on his face for just three minutes. I could feel his voice choking when he pleaded to me, 'Pappa, get us out of here; we are innocent. His choked voice scared me, and I am worried about my son's security."
The times have been turbulent for the entire Khan family as the courts are scheduled to go on vacation in the first week of November with Diwali on November 4.
This also indicates that if Aryan Khan doesn't get bail before the first week of November, his jail stay could get extended.
Aryan Khan and other accused in the drugs case have already spent 18 days in Arthur Road Jail after being arrested on October 3rd.
