Director Shekhar Kapur Says He Would Have Made Mr India Sequel But He Doesn't Have The Rights
While Mr India trilogy has already been announced, the director of the original Shekhar Kapur says he would have made a sequel if he had the rights.
The concept of invisibility that made Arun Verma aka Anil Kapoor disappear gave us the thrills in Mr India. This was before Harry Potter's invisibility cloak had become our fantasy.
At least once in our lives, we have all shouted at the dining table, "Calendar khana do... Calendar khana do..."! For every 90s kid, Mr India will always hold a special place in our hearts.
The man who directed the film, Shekhar Kapur recently said that he would have already made a sequel of Mr India, if he had the rights. "If I had the rights to Mr India, I would have done a Mr India 2 by now. But I don't," he was quoted as saying.
Do you know a superhero trilogy around the character is already in the works?
Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai fame filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar had announced that he is making a Mr India trilogy.
