'Roadies Will Inspire Me To Push My Limits', Sonu Sood Confirms Replacing Rannnvijay Singha
Sonu Sood has confirmed that he is replacing Rannvijay Singha on Roadies 18. He said that Roadies will help him push his limits and he is thrilled to be a part of the youth-oriented show.
A day after speculations were doing the rounds that Sonu Sood has replaced Rannvijay Singha on Roadies 18, the messiah of the poor and the needy has confirmed that he has indeed come on board.
Sonu Sood said that Roadies will help him push his limits and he is thrilled to be a part of the youth-oriented show.
In a statement, he said, "MTV Roadies depicts the phenomenal spirit of the youth, who dare to challenge their limits.The journey emphasises on the importance of mental and emotional endurance along with physical strength, which is what drew me towards hosting the show. The new season is going to be high on adrenaline and adventure and will leave viewers on the edge of their seats. The show comes with an infectious energy; something thatĄŻll inspire me at every step to push my limits as well. I am thrilled to host the upcoming season and take the contestants through this South African expedition."
The shooting of Roadies 18 is expected to begin in the second week of Feb. The show will be aired in March on MTV.
Sonu Sood will replace Rannvijay Singha who has been a part of the show since the very beginning -- as a contestant in season one and then as a host and mentor for other seasons.

Rannvijay has clarified that he parted ways with the show and channel on mutual agreement.
"IĄŻve been working with the channel for 18 years. IĄŻve done different shows with the network. Production house aur mera koi taal mel hai nahi.
The channel has been a key pillar of my journey and IĄŻll be doing interesting work with them. On this edition of Roadies, things didnĄŻt work out from both sides. Our dates were not matching and it is disheartening," he told Hindustan Times.
