Stuck In Manali Amid Heavy Rain, 'Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar' Actor Ruslaan Mumtaz Shares Ordeal
In such a situation of heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, actor Ruslaan Mumtaz known for his work in Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar shared videos from Manali where is stuck with no network.
Heavy rainfall has caused widespread destruction in north India. Video and photos doing the rounds are scary. While the roads in NCR are flooded, the situation in North-East and hill station is alarming.
In such a situation, actor Ruslaan Mumtaz known for his work in Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar shared videos from Manali. "The road is not even there now", he said.
In the video, he shared the ordeal of people and said, "Never imagined I would actually get stuck in Manali with no network, no way to get back home as the roads are blocked and I am unable to shoot as well. Tough times in a very very beautiful place. I don't even know if I should be happy, sad, thankful, grateful, or just enjoy my apple."
For the unversed, the Meteorological Department issued red alert in Mandi, Kullu Manali, Sirmaur and Sonal un till July 13.
In another video, he shared that things are getting back to normal.
He wrote, "Hey guys, finally everything seems calmer here. The rain has stopped and the river has subsided. I have been fortunate enough that I stayed with the hotel owner's family. I made a few friends with whom I stayed with. I am fine and I am doing well. I just wanted to let you all know as I was getting a lot of messages regarding my safety. We are all safe, the film crew is safe as well. We are trying to figure out how to get back. I will see you guys back in Mumbai. Thank you for all the love."

In another scary video doing the rounds, a hotel can be seen washed away in Manali Aallu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to talk about the damage caused to life and property due to heavy rains and floods in the state.
