Today, Surbhi finally put an end to the buzzing rumours mill and announced their wedding in a heartwarming post with the caption, "These roots run deep, carrying stories of sunshine and rain, resilience and grace. Sumit and I chose to begin our journey here, under nature¡¯s sacred canopy, honouring the trees that stand tall and the five elements that keep us whole."
Along with the caption, the actress also shared photos of the duo seemingly from a pre-wedding shoot or event, where they were dressed in colour-coordinated outfits and stood in the jungles of Jim Corbet National Park. Let's decode their traditional looks.
For the photos, Surbhi opted for a heavily embellished, yellow-hued Patiala salwar suit which was paired with a white-toned dupatta featuring broad golden borders. Designed by fashion designer Gopi Vaid, the suit was adorned all over with delicate gold-toned embellishments and embroidery. She accessorised her look with statement chandbali earrings and matching maang tikka.
Sumit matched with his bride-to-be in a yellow-hued kurta which also featured similar embellishments and embroidery and was paired with white pyjamas.
As per reports, the couple is set to tie the knot on October 27 at a luxury resort in Uttarakhand's Jim Corbet National Park.
