'Piche Hatiye', Taapsee Pannu Irked After Paps Hound Her To Comment On Raju Srivastava's Demise
Taapsee Pannu got irked after paparazzi hounded her to ask her to comment on late comedian Raju Srivastava.
Taapsee Pannu, who is known for her outspoken nature is once again in the limelight for her encounter with the paparazzi. The actress, who was recently seen in Anurag Kashyap's film 'Dobaaraa', was recently spotted attending a film screening in the city of Mumbai.
After she came out of the theatre, the actress was seen being crowded by reporters and paparazzi outside the venue and was asked to comment on the late comedian Raju Srivastava, who died on September 21, 2022, after being on a ventilator for 40 days in the hospital.
The video was caught on camera and a person can be heard asking Taapsee about comedian Raju's death while several others block her path. Irritated and feeling insecure amid the huge crowd at the venue, Taapsee reacted to the paparazzi saying, "Kya bolun (What should I say)?"
She then asks the paps to move aside and clear her path. "Aare bhai sahab, aap ek minute, aap ek minute. Aap hatiye, aap aese mat kariye, thoda hatiye, thoda hatiye, piche hatiye. (Give me a minute. You please step aside, don't do like this, move a little bit, step back)," she can be heard saying in the video before quickly walking away.
Many have reacted to the viral video of Taapsee Pannu shared on a paparazzo's Instagram account. While some empathized with the actress others slammed her calling her arrogant and much more.
Taking to the comment section of the viral video, a user slammed the actress and said, "Most annoying nd idiotic Lady this flim industry."
Another wrote, "Where¡¯s her security? Poor girl she¡¯s handling even her security and yet you guys are bombarding her for no reason!!!!
A third commented, "Stop hounding her like this, you guys are going over the board now."
While another compared her with Jaya Bachchan and said, "She¡¯s turning into #jayabachchan #angrybachchan ??????."
On the work front, Taapsee Pannu's last film Dobaaraa, which is an official remake of the 2018 Spanish film, Mirage, flopped at the box office.
The actress will be next seen in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film 'Dunki'.Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie is set to highlight the rampant use of 'Donkey Flight', an illegal backdoor route used by Indians to immigrate to countries like the USA and Canada.
Speaking of bagging a project with the King of Bollywood, Taapsee told PTI, "When you end up getting the opportunity to work with him, it becomes the golden opportunity. And combined with the fact that it is going to be directed by Rajkumar Hirani, whose films are classics, it doesn't get better. I don't know how will I even ever up it."
