Speaking to ANI earlier, Tamannah had shared she was excited to be a part fo the film festival. "I am so excited about this, it's such an honour and I am really looking forward," she said.

For the unversed, Tamannaah Bhatia had first stepped into the world of showbiz at the age of 15. She appeared in the music video of song Lafzon Mein by Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant.
In the same year, she made her debut on the big screen.
She starred in Hindi movie Chand Sa Roshan Chehra in 2005 and also made her Telugu debut with film Sri. From here on, she appeared in many successful Tamil films like Ayan, Paiyaa, Siruthai, Veeram, Dharma Durai, Devi, Sketch and her Telugu films like 100% Love, Oosaravelli, Racha, Tadakha, Baahubali: The Beginning, Bengal Tiger, Oopiri, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and more.
Talking about her career's highs and lows, Tamannaah said that she believed in Sajid Khan¡¯s Himmatwala as much as she believed in SS Rajamouli¡¯s Baahubali.
Tamannaah told Film Companion, "I feel like the best and the worst decisions I have made in my film career, both I wasn¡¯t really planning on doing and I didn¡¯t know where that would go. Both seemed equally correct at that point."
She also said that she is very open about not liking her own films. She said, ¡°Like a film like Himmatwala. I am very open if I don¡¯t like a film of my own. I¡¯ll say it. It didn¡¯t do what it should have done.¡±
"I believed in it as much as I believed in Baahubali. But the one thing about those films is, I don¡¯t think I was prepared for either. But I learnt on the job and that¡¯s the beauty of being an actor that you are discovering constantly and you are evolving constantly," she said.
