The 'Witch' Is Now 'Most Desirable Woman', Rumy Jafry On Rhea Chakraborty's Transition In A Year
Rumy Jafry says people's perception about Rhea Chakraborty has changed in a year. A year ago, she was a witch and now she is the most desirable woman.

A year ago, Rhea Chakraborty was being slammed online for Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Her family was being strangled. Her mother was depressed. The actress had lost her boyfriend, and people believed that she had a role to play in his death.
She was called a witch and was accused of abetting his suicide. She even spent a month in jail for allegedly procuring drugs for him. In a year, a lot has changed.
In the list of Times 50 Most Desirable Women 2020, Rhea Chakraborty bagged the first spot. The transition in just one year reflects that people's perception has changed, says her director Rumi Jafry.
"Last year, she was a 'witch', a 'golddigger' and whatnot; this year she was declared as the 'most desirable woman'. This shows there has been a change in the perception of people," he told TOI.
Jafry has directed him in Chehre, a film starring Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan, which has been delayed innumerable times because of the pandemic. The film is set to be released in theatres on August 27.
