Vijay Deverakonda Meets Theatre Owner Who Called Him Arrogant, Expresses Regret For His Comment
Vijay Deverakonda recently met with Manoj Desai, the theatre owner who called him arrogant for his comment on boycott culture. He expressed regret and clarified that his comment was taken out of context.
Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger are getting massively trolled on social media. The film hasn't been able to live up to the expectations at the box office and has already emerged as the worst-rated Indian film on IMDb. Audiences are ripping apart the movie in hilarious reviews doing the rounds, and in the midst of this all, Vijay Deverakonda is trying to make some corrections.
The actor who has made a pan-India debut with the movie recently met Manoj Desai, the executive director of Gaiety Galaxy and Maratha Mandir Cinema, who had called him arrogant for his remarks on the boycott trend.

When Vijay met him, he expressed regret and also explained to him that his comment was taken out of context.

Lashing out at Vijay Deverakonda, Manoj Desai had said, "Why are you showing smartness by saying ¡®Boycott our movie¡¯? People won¡¯t even watch on OTT. Such behaviour of yours has put us in trouble and impacting our advance bookings. Mr Vijay, you are anaconda not ¡®Konda Konda¡¯. You are talking like an anaconda. ¡®Vinaash kaale vipareet buddhi¡¯, when the time of destruction inches closer, the mind stops working, and you are doing that. anyways, it¡¯s your wish."
Vijay had said that Liger will mint more than Rs 200 crore in theatres alone.

Vijay Deverakonda in an interview with ANI had said, "We've put our heart into making this film. And I believe that I am correct. I feel that there is no room for fear, when I had nothing, I didn't fear, and now after having achieved something, I don't think there needs to be any fear even now. Maa ka aashirwaad hai, Logon ka pyaar hai, Bhagwaan ka haath hai, andar aag hai, Kaun rokenge dekh lenge (We have mother's blessings, people's love, God's support, a fire inside us, we will see who will stop us)!"
