Vivek Agnihotri Slams Ayan Mukerji And Karan Johar, Says They Make Fun Of LGBTQ Community
Vivek Agnihotri slammed Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar. He said Ayan cannot pronounce Brahmastra and Karan Johar makes fun of LGBTQ community.
A lot of films recently have suffered at the box office because of the boycott Bollywood trend. The recent one that has become a victim of the trend is Karan Johar-produced and Ayan Mukerji-directed Brahmastra. Talking about the film, Vivek Agnihotri who had earlier said that even his film The Kashmir Files was boycotted by the entire film fraternity yet it did good business, slammed Ayan and Karan for making fun of the LGBTQ community.

Vivek Agnihotri says Ayan Mukerji cannot even pronounce Brahmastra
In an interview with Kushal Mehra, he said, "Brahmastra, do they even know the meaning of that? And then they are talking about Astra Verse, what is even that? Then you put your director, who can't even pronounce Brahmastra."

Furthermore, he praised his skills and added, "He is a wonderful director. I loved his Wake Up Sid and the second film and I wish he made a wonderful film. I am concerned about him like a mother is concerned about their children. I am very disappointed. So these are the problems".

He also accused Karan Johar of mocking the LGBTQ community.
He added, "They talk about LGBTQ activism but they themselves make fun of it. Why do Karan's films often make fun of the LGBTQ community? Why? And they talk about activism."
Vivek Agnihotri recently slammed Anurag Kashyap after the ace filmmaker said that he hoped The Kashmir Files isn't India's official entry for Oscars this year as he believed that SS Rajamouli's RRR would make a good choice and had 90 percent chances of bagging a nomination if sent as an official entry.

Later, when Kashyap in another interview said that he hasn't even watched Agnihotri's film because of difference in ideology, the filmmaker slammed him on Twitter and said, "Look at the intellectual dishonesty of these people, they judge and review your film without EVEN SEEING it. The genius filmmaker says #TheKashmirFiles which is about Hindu Genocide is not his ideology. Does this mean his ideology is that of Islamic Terrorists Brotherhood?".
In an interview with India Today, Vivek Agnihotri had earlier said, "I don¡¯t have a problem with anybody criticising the film. In every interview, I say I am the greatest fan of SS Rajamouli. Vijayendra ji (Rajamouli¡¯s father and RRR¡¯s writer) is a very dear friend of mine, like an older brother. Any film can go for Oscar, how does it matter."

He said that Kashyap had tried to sabotage his film, The Kashmir Files, earlier as well.
"It¡¯s the jury, which will decide. So wishing this film (RRR) goes is fine but pinpointing a certain film with which you had problems in the past and you have tried to sabotage it. Now you are running a campaign that it should not go for Oscars is ethically and morally wrong. I make my film very passionately so I can protect them very passionately."
