Joyce Polycarp is reportedly a Malayali Christian. Since she is deeply rooted in her religion, she reportedly baptized both her daughters Amrita as well as Malaika. Going by her Instagram profile, she is a cooking enthusiast who would often put up photos of the delicious dishes she cooks. Her Instagram bio reads, "'JOYS OF COOKING' with Joyce Arora, Cut. Chop. Cook... My kinda thing. Sharing my joy. My love for cooking. Happiness on a plate." Her feed is full of recipes and posts about food.
Joyce Arora's first and second husband
It is said that Joyce was first married to Anil Arora, who is Malaika and Amrita's biological father. However, they got divorced when Malaika was 5 years old and Amrita was five years old. As per a report on The Economic Times, she had divorced both Anil Arora and Anil Kuldip Mehta. However, no one knows the timeline of the two events. In a statement to the Police, she reportedly said that despite her divorce from Anil Kuldip Mehta, they had been living together for past couple of years. Just like her daughters, she uses the surname Arora on Instagram.
Joyce Polycarp was inconsolable at Anil Mehta's funeral. She was in tears after performing the last rites. As she walked towards the car, Malaika held her hand to comfort her while her grandson Arhaan Khan helped her walk as she wept.
