Lakshmi is the first wife of superstar Nagarjuna and the mother of Naga Chaitanya. Lakshmi is the daughter of legendary producer D. Ramanaidu and Rajeshwari. She grew up alongside siblings Venkatesh and Suresh Babu, who are both known personalities in Telugu cinema. Her nephew is actor Rana Daggubati.
