Netflix Korea 'accidentally' leaks Squid Game Season 3 release date
Netflix Korea might have accidentally spilled the beans on the release date for Squid Game Season 3. A teaser video that was briefly available on their YouTube channel listed June 27, 2025, as the official release date, and even though the video is now private, fans were quick to grab the details and share them on social media.
While Netflix hasn't officially confirmed the release date for Squid Game Season 3, the streamer announced the third season on New Year with a new poster and a caption that says "Season 3, coming in 2025. Only on Netflix."

Lee Jung Jae has previously shared photos with V on his Instagram account, while Taehyung has posted several teasers with the mysterious caption '27 v2'. Notably, the alleged release date for Squid Game Season 3 is June 27, which has led fans to wonder if V's posts are hinting at a connection to the show.
Photos of Taehyung hanging out with Im Si-wan, who played the role of YouTube personality Myung-gi in the second part of Squid Game, have also resurfaced, adding more fuel to the speculation and further solidifying the conspiracy theories surrounding a potential collaboration of the BTS star with the show.

Lee Jung Jae responds
During a BuzzFeed interview, Lee Jung Jae and Wi Ha Joon were asked if all the rumours were true. The Squid Game duo's expressions changed as soon as V's name was mentioned. Lee swiftly changed the subject, stating that he couldn't discuss it, while Wi Ha Joon smiled and maintained his "no comment" stance.
