Deepika Padukone's first official appearance from the prestigious film festival that kicked off on May 17, 2022 is making headlines as photos and videos of the 36-year-old actress from the event were released by media outlets online. The actress was seen wearing a Louis Vuitton dress paired with brown boots for the jury dinner.

The Gehraiyaan actress has dropped a fresh new look from Day-2 of the Cannes Film Festival. After showcasing her traditional and desi side in a black and gold saree for Cannes 2022 opening ceremony, the actress chose to don an all-black power suit. She completed her powerful yet classy look with a silver panther-head choker decorated with emerald stones. The diva once again styled her hair in a messy hairdo with crimson lips.
Deepika Padukone is a part of the eight-member jury at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, who inaugurated the India Pavilion today at Marche¡¯ Du Film, along with Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports, as per reports. Apart from making India proud, the Chhapaak actress also said that there will be a time when Cannes will take place in India.
"India is at the cusp of greatness, this is just the beginning...there will come a day I truly believe where India won't have to be at Cannes, but Cannes will be in India," Deepika Padukone said during the inauguration of India Pavilion at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
