If there¡¯s any character that deserves a series of its own, then the first choice for many would be Loki. And just when we said this, looks like someone heard our prayers. We are definitely about to get a whole lot more of the god of the thunder in a new TV series.

Loki is one villain that a lot of people love. He makes bad looks so good, doesn¡¯t he? With his smile, his sass and his swag, Loki, from an infamous villain of the Marvel universe has become the heartthrob and now he is getting a series of his own. Here¡¯s all that we know about it.

#1 Is Tom Hiddleston starring in it?

I mean, how can you even imagine Loki without Tom Hiddleston? Whether other characters close to him like Thor will appear on the show remains to be seen.

#2 Who¡¯s making it? Marvel? Definitely yes!

There are tons of shows in MCU like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Agents Of SHIELD, and Runaways. But all these are not made by Marvel Studio. However, the Loki TV series, on the other hand, will be produced by Marvel Studios. Yay!

#3 Is the first look out? Yes!

The picture from the sets of the show is out, and looks like it¡¯s set in mid-1970s.

#4 What¡¯s the plot about?

Of course, the official synopsis isn¡¯t out as of yet, but it is said that the Loki TV series will hop across time and will take Loki to important historical moments ¡°as an unlikely influencer on historical events.¡± That¡¯s exciting, right?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ¡°Sources say the show will follow Loki as the trickster and shape-shifter pops up throughout human history as an unlikely influencer on historical events."

#5 How many episodes will it have?

It is said to be a mini-series. So, the episode count will be small for sure (five, maybe?). But reportedly, the budget of the show is huge ¨C $100 million approx.

#6 Who is writing the show?

Apparently, the pilot is being written by Rick & Morty writer Michael Waldron. He will not only write the pilot but also executive produce the series and act as the show creator.

#7 Where will the show be released?

For the unversed, Disney is coming up with its own streaming service called Disney+. It is said that the service will be home for spinoff Marvel Cinematic Universe. And the first show will be based on Loki.

#8 When will it be released?

Well, that hasn¡¯t been announced as of yet. But if grapevine is to be believed, the Loki TV series will likely come out in 2020 or 2021.

#9 Will the Loki TV series have a connection with Avengers: Endgame?

Going by the first look picture, it seems, it¡¯s the same Loki that escaped via Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. So, is he alive? He has cheated death multiple times. Well, only time will tell if he is running into the past version of himself or will he affect the stories of avengers who survived in Endgame.
