Amber Heard blames ex-husband Johnny Depp's dog for infamous bed poop incident, says "I was not in a pranking mood."
Hollywood actress Amber Heard has vehemently denied allegations of pooping on Johnny Depp's side of the bed in a latest testimony as the the two resume their legal volley that started in 2016. Amber Heard, who has accused her ex-husband Johnny Depp of sexually assaulting her with a liquor bottle, was cross-examined by Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez after her testimony during Johnny Depp's defamation trial on Tuesday.
The onscreen Jack Sparrow from Pirates of The Caribbean had previously testified that he believed his ex-wife Amber Heard had defecated on his side of the bed and tried to put a blame on their dogs - Pistol and Boo after an argument during her 30th Birthday party in April 2016. However, Amber Heard denied the claims, citing the bowel control issues one of their shared dog (a teacup Yorkie) has.
According to Amber Heard, the Yorkie in question had eaten Johnny Depp's weed from his stash of marijuana leading to spontaneous bowel movements anywhere and everywhere. "[Boo] had eaten Johnny's weed when she was a puppy and had bowel control issues for her entire life," the actress said as per reports.
During testimony, the actress said that she had left their two dogs on the bed while she was packing for the Coachella Music Festival and did not notice one of them had defecated on the bed.
When asked by Johnny Depp's lawyer if the poop was part of a prank, Amber Heard replied, "Absolutely not. Absolutely not. First of all, I don't think that's funny. I was not in a pranking mood. My life was falling apart. I had just been attacked on my 30th birthday¡ it was not really a jovial time and I don't think that's funny, period. That's disgusting."
According to Variety, Johnny Depp's lawyers also cross-examined the actress on her version of events that took place between the former celebrity couple in Australia in 2015. She was asked, ¡°You weren¡¯t scared of him at all, were you?¡± to which she reacted saying, ¡°This is a man who tried to kill me. Of course it¡¯s scary. He¡¯s also my husband.¡±
