Gigi Hadid Arrested For Possessing Marijuana While Vacationing In Cayman Islands; Fined $1000
Supermodel Gigi Hadid was arrested while vacationing in the Cayman Islands. She was later released on bail with a fine of $1000.
Supermodel Gigi Hadid who was recently in India for the launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre was reportedly arrested. Gigi was travelling with her friend Leah Nicole McCarthy to Canyan Islands for a vacation when her luggage was seized for carrying an illegal drug on 10th July.

Cayman Marl Road reports that after a thorough search, even ¡®utensils used for the consumption of ganja¡¯ were found in her bag.
Gigi and Leah were arrested on suspicion of importing ganja and utensils. The duo were transported to the Prisoner Detention Center and after being processed, they were granted bail. They were declared guilty on 12th July and were reportedly fined $1,000. Gigi even managed to ditch a recorded conviction.

Hadid representative told E! News, "Gigi was travelling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license. It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island."
On the personal front, Gigi is rumoured to be dating Leonardo DiCaprio but the latter isn¡¯t yet planning to settle down.
