Tension Brews As Johnny Depp, Amber Heard Come Face To Face In The Court; Watch Video
The tension could be seen in the video as officials ask Johnny to take a step back to make way for Heard to leave the courtroom.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's court battle is growing intense daily. This week Heard made some intense allegations about ex-husband Depp.
Heard began her testimony on Wednesday afternoon, recounting how she first met Depp and fell in love with him. She went on to testify that she discovered that Depp could become extremely jealous -- especially when drunk or high -- and fly into rages.
After Amber's harrowing testimony, the former partners accidentally came face-to-face in the court.
The tension could be seen in the video as officials ask Johnny to take a step back to make way for Heard to leave the courtroom.
In the video, Heard, 36, walked off the witness stand after breaking down while testifying about repeated incidents of sexual assault by Depp. Simultaneously, Depp stood up and seemed to step up to the stand in her direction.
Depp is blind in his left eye and near-sighted in his right for the uninitiated. Heard, who appears terrified, shudders as she steps back seeing Depp.

At the exact moment of their awkward encounter, the court official put his hand toward Depp, asking him to take a step back. Depp immediately turned away and was escorted by a female court officer.
There have been reports that Depp and Heard have avoided eye contact ever since their trial began.
While they could be seen reacting to each other's testimony, there was hardly a moment when they saw eye to eye.
Before this tense and awkward encounter, Amber testified that Depp sexually assaulted her and threatened to "carve up" her face with a broken bottle during a heated argument one month after their 2015 marriage.
Amber Heard broke down in tears on the witness stand on Thursday while testifying in the defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp claiming that he had sexually assaulted her with a liquor bottle during a fight in Australia, shortly after the pair got married.
Recounting the ordeal, the "Aquaman" actress said that the battle in Australia -- during the filming of the fifth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film in March 2015 -- was prompted by Depp's jealousy and concern about his drug use, Variety reported.
She said Depp had repeatedly hit her, threw bottles at her, and choked her against a refrigerator before finally getting her on top of a countertop and penetrating her with a bottle.
"I remember just not wanting to move," she said. She remembered thinking, "Please, God, I hope it's not broken."
Heard is defending herself in a $50 million defamation trial in Fairfax, Virginia.
Depp has sued his ex-wife Heard for writing an op-ed piece for the Washington Post in which she claimed that she was a victim of domestic abuse. Depp has even argued that she has leveled allegations against him to advance her career.
Johnny's lawsuit alleges that he lost out on the sixth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film and other movie roles after Heard referred to herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse" in a December 2018 op-ed, the Variety reported.
