Watch: Liam Payne¡¯s last gig video featuring Justin Bieber¡¯s song ¡®Love Yourself¡¯ leaves the internet teary-eyed
The last performance video of late singing sensation Liam Payne has resurfaced on the internet and is making his fans emotional. It features a soulful rendition of Justin Bieber¡¯s hit track Love Yourself.
The world saw the end of an era on October 16 when One Direction sensation Liam Payne met with a tragic fall from the third floor of a hotel and lost his life. The musician was on a Buenos Aires holiday with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy and the investigation into his sudden demise is speeding rapidly. Amid all of this, a video of Liam¡¯s last performance has emerged on the internet and is making his admirers emotional.
Best known for being a crucial pillar of the global sensation One Direction, Liam Payne rose to massive stardom in 2011 after his debut on The X Factor. Judge Nicole Scherzinger with the assistance of Simon Cowell had united Liam Payne with Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan - a boy bond that ruled the global music space for the longest time.
Soon after Liam¡¯s unfortunate demise, a video of his last-ever show and that too a private gig in London made it it to the internet. Dating back to 2022, the video features Payne performing a cover of Justin Bieber's Love Yourself which is ironically a wholesome ode to failed love affairs and personal worth. Watch here:-
Why is Liam Payne¡¯s last performance video so special?
For the uninitiated, Liam¡¯s band One Direction and Justin Bieber were rising to the charts at the same time and were infamous rivals. In fact, on November 15, 2015, both musical units dropped fresh tracks together leaving the internet go wild. Their roaring tension even invited a humorous Snapchat dig from Justin who shared, "That face you make when you come out with an album on the same day as Justin Bieber."
Considering how a rival¡¯s song became his last curtain call is purely a heartbreaking coincidence and the internet is heartbroken with this mourning nostalgia. What do you think of this video? Tell us @indiatimes.
