Justin Bieber Mistakenly Posts Gaza's Pic Over 'Praying For Israel' Note, Faces Heavy Backlash
Amid Israel and Palistine's ongoing war, Justin Bieber Mistakenly Posts Gaza's Pic Over 'Praying For Israel' Note Inviting Massive Backlash.
The deadly war between Israel and Palestine seems to get worse every day. While everyone has chosen their sides, some have even openly spoken about it. Talking about tinseltown, several celebrities have spoken out loud in support of Israel and singer Justin Bieber is one of them.
However, it seems like he woke up and put up a random Instagram story inviting massive backlash against him.
Justin took to Instagram and shared a photo of the destruction in Gaza alongside the words ¡°Praying for Israel¡±. Several netizens jumped to school the singer for his irrelevant innocence which made him delete the story. He even shared a long note which read, ¡°Truly hurting for both my Israeli and Palestinian friends.¡±
¡°I'm pretty sure we all instinctively know evil when we see it. To villainize all Palestinians or all Israeli people to me seems wrong. I'm not interested in choosing sides, but I am interested in standing with the families who have been brutally taken from us.¡±
The singer was quick to remove his stories and posted ¡®Praying for Israel¡¯ without any background.
Even though he corrected his mistake, the netizens didn¡¯t seem to be convinced enough. One user wrote, ¡°Can celebrities just stop talking?¡± Another said, ¡°He apologised but honestly that doesn¡¯t change anything. If you are a celebrity you should do research before hurting millions of people. Hope he learns from it.¡±
Meanwhile, India has launched ¡®Operation Ajay¡¯ to rescue Indians trapped in war-torn Israel.
Israeli actor Gal Gadot who recently enjoyed the success of her film ¡®Heart of Stone¡¯ has also stood in support of her country.
She took to Instagram and wrote, At least 250 Israelis have been murdered and dozens of women, children and elders held as hostages in Gaza, by Palestinian military group Hamas. Starting early in the morning more than 3,000 rockets were fired. Hamas is holding hostages and controlling bases and settlements in Israel. There have been more than 1,500 injured and heavy fighting is still ongoing.¡±
She further quoted someone saying, ¡°I hear their voices and they are banging on the door. I am with my two little children.¡± Gal concluded her note by saying, ¡°My heart is aching Praying for all of those in pain.¡± In another post, the actress wrote, ¡°I stand with Israel you should too. The world cannot sit on the fence when these horrific acts of terror are happening!¡±
