The film collected an unimpressive Rs 1.4 crore (nett) in India on the first day before witnessing a dip over the weekend. It then crashed on Monday (February 17). The flick continued its underwhelming run on February 18.

Vishwak Sen is in the limelight because of his latest film Laila, which has failed to live up to expectations at the box office. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the action comedy earned just Rs 24 lakh on its first Tuesday. The figure is lower than the Rs 36 lakh it made on Monday.

The film¡¯s total collection stands at Rs 3.2 crore. Laila received negative reviews with critics panning the execution and comic elements. The lacklustre word-of-mouth prevented the film from witnessing any growth over the weekend and ultimately led to its downfall.

Laila is an action comedy, directed by Ram Narayan. It features Vishwak Sen in two distinct roles. He plays a barber as well as Laila, a stylish woman. The cast includes Akanksha Sharma, Ravi Mariya, Vennela Kishore, and Nagineedu. Leon James, who rose to fame with Ko 2, is the music director of Laila.
