Hailed as Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Akshay Kumar started his journey as a true blue action hero. He swiftly moves toward comedy and gave us some epic gems that remain unbeatable even years later. Gradually, he moved towards cause-oriented movies and again delivered some hits. Akki, as he is fondly called by his fans, has always reinvented himself at the right time proving that with his age, his magnetism will not diminish at all.

However, the year 2022 wasn't apparently the worst one for the most bankable actor of B-Town.

Even Ram Charan recently took a dig at Akshay for completing a film in just 3-040 days. There's a reason why he is hailed as the most bankable actors of B-Town. On the contrary, this year, he didn't give us a massive hit.

His films Bachchhan Paandey, Cuttputlli, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan and Ram Setu weren't blockbuster hits like we all expected them to be. They went unnoticed at the box office. A couple of days ago, he released the first look of as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from his forthcoming Marathi movie Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat and he became a target of severe criticism. People said that other actors like Sharad Kelkar were better choices for the role.

It has been 15 years since Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kpaoor and Paresh Rawal starrer movie was released in theatres and we still remember it's dialogues and characters. From Majnu Bhai's painting to Uday Shetty's epic dialogues, and RDX's "hum zinda hai" - every scene of the film is still popular in the meme-world.

Can you believe this movie had released over two decades ago? We have watched this one so many times that it remained etched in our hearts and memories. Every time you watch this gem of a movie, you cannot help but trip over it. No one can match his sass level. We hope Akshay is back in Hera Pheri 3 because we cannot imagine this one without him. The best part about this movie is Paresh Rawal.

Garam Masala is simply one of the funniest comedy movies ever. The film is problematic at certain and the humour is questionable in today's time, but Akshay Kumar and John Abraham's situational comedy doesn't feel dated at all. Adding to it is Paresh Rawal who plays the cook and never fails to tickle our funny bones.

Before Stree, it was Akshay Kumar's Bhool Bhulaiyaa that enthralled the audiences with its horror-comedy. This one is a remake of 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. Shiney Ahuja, Vidya Balan, Ameesha Patel and Manoj Joshi did a great job with the serious plot, and Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav killed it with their comedy.

Hailed as one of the best comedies from 2000s, this film brought together the three superstars - Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra. Akshay's wicked Sunny was simply a laughter riot. Starring Naseeruddin Shah, Akshay Kumar Suniel Shetty and Raveena Tandon, Mohra had released in 1994 and was the second biggest blockbuster of the year after Hum Aapke Hain Koun. One of the best action movies that had some epic fight scenes too. Also, how can we forget Tu cheez badi hai mast mast?
